I've read Breaking the Mirror but I didn't like it as much as Pain and ... Pain? mostly because the ending was kind of disappointing. It just sort of stopped =/ P&P? had a better closure and general plot development was more my cup of tea. They are sort of similar at the beginning but imo P&P? is a lot more brutal and violent and runs a level deeper than BtM. But that's only my opinion ^^
