Yeah it did fit in with the character progression (can I call it that?!). Know what you mean with the Blood Red main char, a bit whiny and unpredictable though the rest of the story was good! Started on 'pain and...pain?' But it just reminds me so much of Breaking the Mirror by AMV if you've read it.
